Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025: A Fantastic Event for Innovation and Collaboration
We were thrilled to return to Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025, one of the UK’s premier events for the manufacturing and electronics industries. Taking place at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre from February 4–6, as always, the show provided an incredible platform to showcase our latest electronics reliability and contamination testing solutions, reconnect with existing customers, and establish new connections within the industry.
We exhibited alongside our Principals MBtech & MEK, and for the first time, we were joined by our new our strategic partners Zestron, strengthening our collaborative approach to driving innovation in electronics manufacturing. The event allowed us to highlight the importance of reliability testing and process optimisation, demonstrating how our cutting-edge technologies ensure compliance with industry standards and enhance product performance.
Engaging with Industry Professionals
With over 9,000 professionals attending the event, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics continues to be a vital meeting place for engineers, manufacturers, and supply chain specialists across industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, and industrial electronics. Throughout three-day event, we had valuable discussions with both existing customers and new contacts, discussing industry challenges in contamination testing, solderability, and process control.
The increasing industry demands for higher reliability and compliance with IPC and ISO standards was evident, as our experts were kept busy throughout the exhibition having exciting conversations around individual reliability needs and on hand to demonstrate our latest test equipment, helping visitors understand how they can improve their processes, reduce defects, and enhance product durability.
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics has always been an event that not only showcases cutting-edge technology but also brings knowledge sharing and industry growth. This year was no exception, with an impressive lineup of seminars, panel discussions, and live demonstrations focusing on key industry trends.
As exhibitors, we had the opportunity to witness some of the most exciting technological advancements in automated inspection and precision manufacturing. Seeing innovations up close confirming the importance of continuous improvement in electronics manufacturing and reliability testing—something that GEN3 has been committed to for decades.
